Fontana's Community Assistance Program is an organization designed to provide referrals to people in the community to meet a variety of needs.
Since CAP started in June
of 2004, many people have benefited from our assistance.
 |
At our annual
Resource Fair, over 90 representatives from a variety of community
assistance agencies counseled and provided information to the public. |
|
We helped a teenaged
mother regain custody of her baby and she receive her G.E.D. |
|
Shelter was provided
for a family with a seriously ill parent. |
|
A school that heard
about CAP donated enough non-perishable food to help feed over 40
families. |
|
A veterans’
organization donates 35 pairs of Converse tennis shoes, which were given
to Fontana residents in need. |
|
An out-of-state family counselor who had seen the Fontana website called CAP to get a counseling referral for a family who was relocating to Fontana. |
Many more stories of hope will be shared on this website and in the community during the coming days.
