CAP Classes

CAP provides life skill classes to the community through a variety of affiliated organizations within the Inland Empire. These classes range from personal enhancement, business and educational skills. 

The classes we offer are completely free of charge.  The majority of the classes are for 2 hours, unless advised otherwise.

If you are interested in any of these classes you may register by following the registration requirements according to the class instruction.

CAP Classes

Basic English Skills (ESL)
Come and join in learning English in a fun and supportive setting. This class covers the basics of English Language. We will learn English vocabulary, reading and writing, along with conversational and job communication skills. This class is for English and Non-English speakers.

Computer Training
Come and join in learning basic computer skills. This 6 week program will teach you the basic skills to operate a computer along with the components of Word, Power Point, Publisher and Excel. This course also includes a career development overview to help you plan and apply these skills to your employment readiness. (No class on 11/11 Veteran’s Day and 11/25 Thanksgiving week)

Dress for Success Workshop
Feeling nervous about a job interview? For those who get nervous when interviewing, learn how to put your best foot forward, we will guide you to learn techniques that will prepare you for the interviewing process.
 Your image has the power to affect people emotionally and intellectually, projecting that you do or do not have the confidence and professional potential to be successful. Because the impression your visual image makes on potential employers is so important, this workshop will aid you in making a positive impression.

 If you’re doing more and enjoying it less, it’s time to make real choices about how and when to spend your time. This seminar gives you the tools to find balance, achieve your goals and be more effective and productive. Attend this workshop to learn how to:
   * Plan your week so you can reduce stress and save time
   * Organize your master project and to-do lists so they are doable
   * Break down your personal or business goals into bite sized pieces
